Knowing how we service and maintain your Maxus car is just as important as knowing when to do it. Here are some useful information about vehicle warranty, servicing and maintenance you might need
Passenger Vehicles (ICE/HEV/PHEV)
From the date of registration, your Maxus passenger vehicle is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5yrs/100,000km whichever comes first. This warranty consists of a limited factory warranty provided by SAIC Maxus Automotive Co., Ltd. for 36 months/100,000km. Thereafter, the warranty is covered by an Extended Warranty provided by Cycle & Carriage for the 4th and 5th year with no mileage extension (not applicable for commercial use / private hire purposes, which is limited to only 3yrs/100,000km whichever comes first).
Commercial Vehicles (ICE/HEV/PHEV)
For commercial vehicles, your new vehicle is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years/ 100,000km mileage (whichever comes first). Upon expiry of the vehicle’s factory warranty at the end of the 3rd year or 100,000km (whichever comes first) from the date of registration, Cycle & Carriage undertakes an additional 2 years of the vehicles’ warranty, stretching to a total of 5 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first).
Passenger & Commercial Vehicles (BEV)
For Maxus EV/HEVs, they will be covered against defects in materials and workmanship under 5 years / 100,000km mileage, whichever comes first, from registration date.
It is strongly advised that you always bring your vehicle to qualified specialist workshops such as Cycle & Carriage for servicing at recommended service intervals – every 10,000 km or 6 months (ICE) and every 15,000km or 6 months (EV), whichever comes first.

Contractual Warranty Repair or replacement of parts acknowledged as faulty by the Manufacturer, as well as the labour necessary to repair the vehicle. Towing for immobilised vehicle within Singapore is covered.
Anti-perforation
Up to 3 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first, from the date of registration, subject to an annual inspection by Cycle & Carriage..
Battery
1-year or 20,000km (whichever comes first) from the date of vehicle registration.
Genuine Parts
All Maxus genuine parts (exclude wear and tear) replacement sold by Cycle & Carriage comes with a 1-year or 20,000km warranty, whichever comes first. Genuine parts always come with warranty, unlike non-genuine parts.
Paintwork
Original bodywork paint or lacquer defect.
Accessories
Accessories fitted locally such as audio, in-car camera, reverse sensor and GPS system are covered under warranty for 1 year.
Consumables
Consumables are normal maintenance items which require periodic replacement from motoring wear and tear. They include:
Wear-and-Tear Items
Wear-and-tear items require periodic inspections, adjustment and/or replacement at certain mileage. They include parts such as but are not limited to:
Incidental or consequential costs, such as loss of use, personal effects or income, are also not covered.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Maintenance and repairs on your vehicle in Singapore must be carried out in accordance with the instructions laid down by Maxus (the Manufacturer). It is strongly advised that such operations are to be performed by qualified specialist workshops such as Cycle & Carriage.
Failure to comply with the recommended maintenance schedule may invalidate this vehicle warranty. You must provide proof of maintenance records, invoices, etc.
