Urban sketching is a lot more fun when you’ve got a car to take you anywhere and everywhere! We grabbed Singapore’s very own urban sketcher Teoh Yi Chie and hopped into a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross to visit the iconic Kampong Glam. Learn the basic concepts of composition, proportions, and shading. Sign up for this trial class ($42) before deciding if you’d like to commit to eight sessions, 12 sessions, or 24 sessions. - Short Courses by NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts)
As long as you’re over 17 years old, you can participate in NAFA’s short courses (from $300), all of which are suitable for beginners. Choose from a range of classes, including ‘Charcoal Drawing’, ‘Basic Portrait Drawing’, and ‘Techniques in Watercolour’.
